Chas comes to us from a local government background having over 20 years engineering experience covering six municipalities. He has been at Shire Engineer/Director levels for three of these where he was responsible for the full range of civil infrastructure services, town planning, building surveying and parks and gardens.

In 1997 he moved across as Operations Manager to a manufacturing company involved in researching and developing a variety of its own products for large farm operations, domestic heating and cooling, and mobility sectors.

Chas has been personally involved in the development industry whilst at the City of Whittlesea and brings to us his extensive knowledge of the processes of development approvals, quality management, design and construction of a wide range of facilities, research and general management.

A qualified and certified civil engineer, Chas has completed an MBA in Technology Management and has qualifications in local government, water engineering and building surveying. He is also a qualified Company Director from the Australian Institute of Company Directors.

Chas is a Member of the Institution of Engineers and has held regional posts as an executive member and past president of the Local Government Engineers Association in the Northern Region. He has also served on various sub-committees with the Municipal Association of Victoria during the updating of road management arrangements in Victoria.
